The company was founded by two brothers, Donald and Andrew Siller. From the time they were very young they would always play having their own business like their father who had his own business.
tomato plantsAs children while they were living in Alaska the entrepreneurial bug bit when they developed a small business of raising indoor tomato plants and then sold them door to door. This was the first time they actually made money and it felt good. Although the business wasn't huge it was hugely successful as you can imagine the demand for fresh tomatoes in that climate and in that time were not available.

In their early teens when they lived in Oregon they continued to experiment with different business like bicycle repair, push cart rentals, and before the vcr was introduced they would check out 8 mm movies from the library and transform the garage in to a movie theater complete with popcorn sales.
After receiving a super 8 movie camera as a birthday present they discovered the world of film and began to create their own movies.

As older teens they moved to California where they were introduced to the personal computer. The Commodore Vic 20. Making small programs and graphics they never felt more empowered. Now the creative juices could flow.

Commodore Vic 20During Adult hood they have been involved in many different business types from Christmas tree sales, clothing manufacturing, firewood sales, Beef jerky production, Imported goods, computer sales, a horse ranch, sound recording, video production, and web design. Spanning from Alaska to Baja California Mexico.

With all their experiences in small business, multimedia design, and computer programming, there was only one thing left to do and that was to help others promote their business thru multimedia and the Internet. Thus became Siller Media.
